Maintain Learner Promotion Decisions
#1
During our Term 1 report cycle, two learners received deviation comments, and ! or Both received incorrect P/NP comments. What am I missing. Shouldn't deviation comments only appear at the end of the year?

The deviation comment only opens up once you manually change a NP to a P, did you change maybe change it previously then re-ran the promotion procedure (re-saving of 12.3.12, then 12.7.16 and 12.7.18)

The P/NP codes apply to every term and serve as an indication whether learners meet the promotion requirements or not. This is also to identify learners that are at risk of not being promoted by Year-End.

As explained by Pro-IT, make sure if the learners met the criteria or not. If need be, then change the P/NP code accordingly at 12.7.18 Maintain Learner Promotion Decisions + Learner General report Comments. Hover the mouse cursor over the red square, at the top-right of the Code* column, next to the corresponding learner, if in doubt.

Important: if a learner initially met/did not meet the criteria to be promoted for the term and someone changed the marks (to the contrary) afterwards (at 12.3.12.11 SBA Results Capture & 12.7.16.3 Maintain Results per Subject), a deviation will be present at 12.7.18.
