Exclamation Welcome Back & News on 2018 Patch
Posted by: SarelK - Yesterday, 10:17 AM - Forum: Announcement of Patches/Updates - Replies (1)

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to welcome you back and we wish you and your loved-ones the best for 2018.

The initial indication from DBE was that the first 2018 Patch for SA-SAMS would be available on 15 January. Unfortunately, there has been a delay.

You will not be able to access the Curriculum module, due to the absence of the updated Curriculum setup for 2018. However, all other modules should be functional and you should proceed with all other non-Curriculum related tasks, until such time that the Patch has been released.

In the meantime, we kindly request you to remain patient and we endeavor to keep you posted, as soon as we know more.

Hi
Can someone please be of assistance.  I am not able to access the Curriculum Module and continuously get a message "2018 Curriculum Module has not been loaded for this school.  I have updated to 17.3.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Exclamation Relocation to Secure Web Server
Posted by: SarelK - 12-19-2017, 08:46 AM - Forum: General Discussion - No Replies

Kindly note that we have moved our forums over to a secure server on 2017/12/18.  So, if you noticed that you are now being redirected from http://sasams.co.za/forum to https://sa-sams.co.za/forum, that is perfectly normal behaviour.  We are still in a process of making a transition of the landing page at http://sasams.co.za, renovating the website and we will keep you posted as soon as this is done.

In the meantime, all SA-SAMS downloads and Manuals are still fully accessible on the current landing page (http://sasams.co.za), while links on the forum have already been updated to access the downloads directly from the secure server.

Kind regards

Hi
I need some assistance with the valistractor and my database please. Using Valistractor 5.3.3.0 and SA-SAMS 17.2.0. Deployment works fine and the Report is printed and Database extracted. However, when I use the valistractor it picks up duplicates in the LearnerInfo table in the  ID and AccessionNo columns and does not not allow me to Extract or force extract Data. The Database was already with the District technician but no change.

Any ideas what I can try.
Regards

Error with marks in Learner Listing
Posted by: Tomcatkzn - 12-07-2017, 09:01 AM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (2)

When we double click on a learner in learner listing, the marks detail is incorrect and frequently shows that the learner has more than 100% for some subjects.
The marks are shown correctly on other reports.
Anyone else noticed this.
Am using 17.3.0

  Report 12.9.45.7 contains no marks
Posted by: Tomcatkzn - 12-07-2017, 08:46 AM - Forum: 12. Curriculum Related Data - Replies (3)

Hi
All our marks are loaded and show in all reports except 12.9.15.7.
The learners names etc are there, but no subjects or subject marks.
Anyone else have this experience and have figured out what the problem is? Huh

  Bandwidth usage November 2017
Posted by: Ashraf - 12-01-2017, 10:37 PM - Forum: Off-Topic - Replies (1)

For the first time we have exceeded nearly 147.35 GB of bandwidth in the month of November 2017. More schools/teachers are using our website for their SA-SAMS downloads.

Thanks to Sarel for going the extra mile in assisting  people with their SA-SAMS issues promptly.
